We are currently recruiting for full time Support Workers, for a residential home based in Caterham, providing a service to adults who have Learning disabilities, Autism, Physical disabilities and Mental Health issues.

Our aim is to support individuals, enabling them to realise their hopes, dreams and aspirations.

Clareville is a large period property set within the lovely town of Caterham, Surrey.

The service is a mixed group who have a very active lives – all our service users attend activities that they have chosen and which they thoroughly enjoy.

The staff team play an important role in empowering our service users to live an active and where possible as independent life as possible.

Clareville have great parties and will throw one at any opportunity. All the service users get involved especially with eating the great food that staff prepare.

Brief description of duties:

• All aspects of personal care.

• Cooking / Cleaning.

• Administering medication.

• Supporting service users with daily activities.

• Record keeping.

Qualifications / skills/ qualities required:

• To work as part of a team and liaise with peers.

• Experience of working with people with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour Autism and Mental health is an advantage.

• To encourage and enable individuals to make informed decisions and choices.

• Honest / Reliable & Trustworthy.

• Eager to learn.

• You must be able to work a mixture of early and late shifts to suit the service, some weekends are also expected.

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and two references, one of which must be from your current or most recent employer.
