Established Leeds-based manufacturer and global distributor seek a Digital Marketing Assistant to increase worldwide sales and brand awareness.

Job overview:

This is a great opportunity to join a growing marketing department and broaden your skills across all aspects of marketing with the opportunity to secure a full-time position if all goes well during the apprenticeship. You will form part of a small but quickly expanding team working to increase the outreach of the business.

Primary duties include:

  • Assisting in the planning, execution, and optimisation of our online marketing strategy.
  • Promotion of products and services through all digital channels
  • To assist in the delivery of marketing strategies to build a digital connection with customers and prospects
  • To assist with planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of our digital activities
  • Launching optimized online advertisements across all channels
  • Executing web product launches and product promotion
  • Website product maintenance and optimisation
  • Social media development
  • Working with digital influencers in our market
  • Building and developing a digital connection with customers and prospects
  • Launch optimized online campaigns through Google AdWords, Facebook etc.
  • Maintain and optimise website content and landing pages
  • Prepare creative content and optimise distribution
  • Collaborate with internal departments to enhance our customer’s experience and service
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of web analytics tools

Required qualities, skills, and experiences:

  • A passion for all things marketing and technology.
  • Sound understanding of the concepts of digital marketing and how the internet can grow revenue.
  • Tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaigns.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Punctual and excellent timekeeper
  • Creative thinker
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing
  • Demonstrable knowledge of contemporary digital marketing techniques
  • Understanding of:
    • B2B / D2C social media
    • Google Adwords / PPC
    • email strategies
    • SEO/SEM
  • MS office suite
  • Experience working with CRM software
  • Good knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge of social media scheduling software
  • Ideally, Degree educated in Digital Marketing or associated discipline
  • Experience working with and manipulating large data sets

Entry requirements:

You need to have 5 GCSE’s:

  • Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D or above
  • 3x GCSE’s grade A-C in any other subject

You must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same level, or higher level than this apprenticeship.

Working week:

5 days per week,
Monday – Friday,
8:50 till 17:00 Mon-Thursday 8.50 to 16:30 Friday

Salary:

You will be paid £230.77 per week whilst in your apprenticeship.
